The Challenge

Our city, and our schools, are facing some big challenges, and there are no easy answers.  Some of the challenges involve money, some involve where we are headed, and some involve how we make decisions and get things done.  The citizens of Falls Church City and its elected officials are going to have to make some hard choices.  The May 2010 city election will determine who makes those decisions. 

Why Ron?

Ron is asking you to consider his leadership, experience, and commitment when you select the team for city hall.  Ron has spent many years in leadership roles in local government, non-profit organizations, and business (and currently chairs the School Board of Falls Church City).  His experience includes working through good times and bad times.  Ron created this web site way back in 1999 to provide information when he was elected to a board of education in Maryland and wanted to provide information and encourage dialogue when the local school system faced similar challenges. 

What can you do?

Ron needs YOUR vote on May 4, 2010.   Ron is running as part of the Citizens for a Better City (CBC) slate.  The CBC candidates have agreed that we are "working together for a sustainable future" for Falls Church City.  We support maintaining a strong community, fiscal stability, and world class schools.
